Effective Communication
An example of my work that exemplifies my understanding of Effective Communication is a school wide science project and presentation that the students at AMES took place in where we did theoretical research on the topic of a space rover landing on Mars and what tools and strategies would prove to be most useful and efficient. The parameters for the project were quite broad so creativity and communication with your group was key.
When we finished our research and chose our strategy of presentation, all of the students in the sciences would gather in a large classroom and groups started presenting to everyone who has science at the same time of the day.
This presentation is a prime example of Effective Communication because we had to get up in front of a large audience and present our project, and then submit ourselves to questions and critiques of our chosen method of landing a rover on Mars with the tools to detect life.
