About Myself
My name is Karim Zamrini and I study as a senior at the Academy for Math, Engineering, and Science. I work for The National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce doing database entry, administration, outreach, and research. As a person, I am very interested in psychology and human emotion and relationships. This is a field I am deeply intrigued by and plan to pursue in my future. Additionally, I am interested in the fields of business and investment banking. I've always had a bone for humor ever since I was little, and I've been known for joking around. But there is a large part of me that is more solemn and relaxed and peaceful as well. Combined, these traits have driven me to live a life of fun and satisfaction when I do things I've set my mind to. "Where there's a will, there's a way" is a quote that has been really powerful for me in my life because when I set my will to something, I get it done every time. I was born in Augusta, Georgia, and moved to Birmingham, Alabama when I was two years old, which is where I grew up. I moved to Salt Lake City in 2006 when my father got a new job in the neurology department at the University of Utah and I've been here ever since. I love Utah and the wonderful outdoor environments and conditions it provides and I plan on staying here in residence for the foreseeable future.
